About Regional Cancer CareEstablished as Regional Hematology Oncology Associates in the 1960's by Dr. Evelyn Coonrad and Dr. Walter Davis, Regional Cancer Care is an outpatient cancer treatment practice consisting of two board-certified physicians, nurse practitioners, oncology-certified nurses, laboratory technicians and administrative and support staff. Practice services include laboratory services, administration of chemotherapy, pharmacy services, and financial and insurance counseling. The practice works closely with Durham Regional Hospital and various home health and hospice care providers, and provides resources for a number of patient and family support groups.
