| 1960’s | Practice is founded by Dr. Evelyn Coonrad |
| 1960’s | Dr. Walter E. Davis joins the practice |
| 1980’s | Dr. Evelyn Coonrad retires |
| 1980’s | Dr. Edwin B. Cox joins the practice |
| 1996 | Practice merged with Raleigh Hematology Oncology Associates and American Oncology Resources and re-established itself as Regional Hematology Oncology |
| 1998 | Dr. James Hathorn leaves Duke University Medical Center to join practice |
| 2004 | Dr. Walter E. Davis retires |
| 2004 | Drs. Robin Hardie-Hood and Jane Ybanez join the practice |
| 2005 | Dr. Edwin B. Cox retires |
| 2006 | Practice changed name to Regional Cancer Care to better communicate our focus on cancer |
